It was an easy win for EASY ROAD (3G Super Easy x Ormond Road) breaking through at his 2nd career start over 1009m at Devonport with Chris Graham aboard.
The gelding stepped quickly from his outside barrier and was able to cross to the rail and lead. He was then able to control the race and run away with an empathetic victory by 4 lengths.
Easy Road was first up today after contesting the Tasmanian Magic Millions 2YO Classic at his first start where not much went right during the run. He had trialled well on two occasions leading up to today’s assignment.
The gelding was purchased at the Magic Millions Adelaide sale by Trinder Racing.

NEED A MARGARITA made it a double when she resumed from a spell in the Class 1 over 1150m. The mare by Needs Further x Sistarita was given a patient ride by Chris Graham who was able to take full advantage of the inside gate.
After jumping well Chris positioned the mare just behind the leader and she was able to peel off the rail entering the home straight to score a great win first-up.
The mare was bred and raced by Catherine Hills at Alva Stud. Congratulations Catherine
